New years eve day at the beach!

We spent an amazing day at the beach New Years Eve day! The weather was gorgeous. I had my dear friend shoot me .. Ha ha ! Thanks Dori, it is fun to have some nice pictures of this gigantic tummy!

Week 40

I hope you will decide to come on your own now, soon. Or they will induce me in this crazy country! Please come... Had we been in Sweden I am pretty sure you have chosen 8th of January to be your birthday, but here they wont let me go that long. It would be two weeks due, exactly like I did with Bianca. She was due the 24th of March and decided the 8th of April was THE day. I am gonna see what I can do! ;)

The things I hear...

Oh it is so funny, what people say about bellies. The best I heard so far was " Happy Labor day". That one got me. Smart man! A lot of people say I must be expecting twins. Am I really that huge? No. Today was extra funny, I think at least 4 people's jaws dropped when they saw my belly in a tight white shirt. They said is that for real? Ha ha , that is too cool. No I said IT IS NOT!!! :)
And when they hear my due date is tomorrow, they think I am crazy for being out on the go. Well, I am lucky to feel great so why would I not? Have a happy day and Merry Christmas, may it be wonderful.

Blessing Way

My dear friends put together a lovely Blessing Way for me and the baby tonight. So sweet. Dori had set up her house so lovely, with sage and candles and absolute calmness. Quiche was served and sangria and green tea. Cinnamon had made the most delicious chocolate cheesecake! How could she know I LOVE THAT!! ;) Molly brought along her jewelery bag, to be able to finish off the necklace that was about to be created from the beads that each and everyone had selected and that they felt represented me in some way. Oh so sweet. Karen were able to join in from Germany on SKYPE. SKYPE is great! I love the necklace that were created out of the beads. It is precious, and I will wear it for a long time.

Thank You again dear friends. Dori, Molly, Cinnamon, Dreama, Dreamas'mom, and Karen. You are all fabulous. And thank you for the gifts. Great stuff. I am loving the sling!!!! :)

36 week belly shot!

36 Weeks!

Had a checkup today. I am a bit dilated already. Have been feeling some pressure down below for the past few days, so that was probably what that was. Baby was head down, heartbeat 160, he/she was moving, there of the fast beats. Stomach measured exactly 36 cm. My weight 170 pounds. My blood pressure 128/74.

So baby, I guess any day now! But hold off will you til I have gotten settled in the house! :)

Your face!

Last friday I went for an ultrasound. I was asked by my midwife here to have an ultrasound done, becuase she needed to have it on paper, she was not able to understand the one I did at 18 weeks in Sweden. I found out that I could go to a school for an ultrasound to no cost. I thought that might be enough, but they did not give me a description of the sonogram which was what the doctor wanted, so I went again yesterday and paid some money. What I did get at the school however was some really cool pictures of you. The girl was able to get your face really good. I especially LOVE the first image of your little lips, all puckered up, and your little nose. It amazes me that the pictures look so good. They even look better than a lot of the 3D pictures I have seen. So cool!! The last one is your hand waving at me! Hey hey!!

The backside of things!

Here is a picture of me from the back. Can't really tell there is a belly in the front, so according to old wives tales, you, my baby, are a boy. But according to the hear rate you showed at Mondays check up you are a girl, the heart rate was 140. This is what I love about not knowing. So exciting!!!!

Other numbers:

*Heart rate 140 *Stomach measured 34 cm. (I am 33 weeks.) *You laid head down, with your bottom to the right and your feet to the left. * Me weighing 164 pounds still. (That is 74.55 in kilo's.)

Since check up you must have done a gazillion flips in my stomach so I am not sure exactly your position at this time! :)

Week 33

Here is the 33 week shot. Getting bigger and bigger. And wow there is so much movement going on in there. A kick here and a kick there and a kick right in there. Ouch!

At the waterfront looking huge!

Taking a nice walk along the waterfront. But it is quiet hard walking. I am wanting to brisk walk but you say stop. The tummy gets so hard and I have to slow down. Please bare with me baby, I want to speed walk!

Kickin frenzy!

Wow you little one sure are a great kicker. I do not remember your sister being so kicky. But I guess it is easy to forget. They way you go about in my tummy though makes me think you are a soccer player or a karate kid. Well see! Soon!

Week 32 and 164 pounds!

I stepped on the scale. And...164 pounds! WOW! But where are those pounds? I mean, I know I am bigger and all, but that sounds so much to me, and I do not feel at all 164 pounds. Well, but that is just how it goes. The baby is growing and so am I! Hi hi....

30 week tummy!!

Here at 30 weeks! My belly was slightly crooked whit Bianca as well. It is this time too. They must have a big lil booty pushing out my one side or something!

Carry high!

I am carrying high, for sure. That must mean it is a girl! ? Yeah? Well, at least that is one of the wisdom's of how one carries. And I do have a strong feeling already that it is a girl. But that doesn't mean a boy would be any less welcomed. Oh no!! See you soon baby!

Week 29 and the beach!

The weather has been absolutely beautiful here in San Francisco. Today we went to the beach by Point Reyes. Shell beach. We had a lovely time. Children where so happy to play in the water and found both jelly fish and crabs. I was happy to have a picture of me and my belly! And I was happy to be there too, at the beach, with great friends. Here is a couple of pictures of baby 29 weeks old. (Cannot get over how big I think I look!)

Week 28

Belly shot..... week 28. Lot's of kicking going on... Lot's of food going in!!! Lot's of pee coming out. Not much sleep. But is is all good. Love the feeling of being prego.

Checkup!

Weight 154 lbs. (In kilo's that is....70kg!!!) Wow, I weighed 76 when I gave birth to Bianca. And I am now only 27 weeks. Where is this gonna end???? :)

Sugar level was good at 97. (Whatever that means?? )

Stomach measure was at 28 cm. A cm bigger than it should be according to the weeks I am. But that is normal.

Baby's heartbeat was 132. (I guess that might mean it is a boy... ) :)

Had blood work done as well at this lovely health clinic that really took good care of me, even though I do not even live here. I did not have to pay for it either. Only 20 dollars. Oh golly!

I am adding a picture of Bianca and me visiting with the cutest little chihuahua puppy named Twilight. She has a sister that needs a home. If I had a home, I would take her, but since we are so not sure where we are going to be, I guess I should not take on a puppy as well!!

Hanging out in Arizona with auntie Andrea. Great, hot weather, around a 100 degrees and more. We enjoy the pool. Arizona is pretty, with its barren landscape, mountains in the background and beautiful cloud formations. We see all sorts of little animals, different kinds of grasshoppers and crickets and different frogs too. It is great to be here.

Week 26 belly shot!

25 weeks today!

Weighing in at 150 pounds. My belly has dropped down a bit, I think. It feels like it. I have felt a lot of kicking lately. This past week I have had very little sleep. I have been interrupted by one thing or another every night. And therefore I have noticed this little baby and its patterns. It is wide awake when I am supposed to be sleeping. But gotcha, this week I did not sleep, so I learned this baby's whereabouts. It is the best feeling when feeling the baby kick. Absolutely fantastic. Here is a pic from this last weekend when we were enjoying the cold water of Feather River. What a beautiful place.

Weight Watch (at almost 24 weeks!)

I started out this pregnancy at 57 kilo's. I am now 67 kilo's at 24 weeks. I have been standing still now for a few weeks. I think my body was catching up from the early 4 weeks of not eating. And now it feels it has gotten to where it should be. I am eating less, so I am sure the body weight is at a healthy stage now. With Bianca I was 54 kilo's pre prego and was 76 kilo's at birth. Will be interesting to see how much more I will gain this time. Not too many kilo's left til the 76 mark! The belly on the other hand is BIG! I feel so much bigger this time. Like I could give birth tomorrow! :)

Travel!

I wonder how you liked traveling so far like we just did the other day. You have already been to many places. Will you be a world traveler or will you want to stay at home? We will see! Sweden to Iceland to Seattle, USA, to San Francisco, USA. Next trip, here we come Florida. This picture is from the San Francisco trip back in April this year with your big sister. You were in my tummy then or you were just about to be. :)

My friend Sara, also a photog, www.saranorling.com photographed my little belly at 19 weeks some days. The setting was to gorgeous not to use. However not too much tummy ( I can just imagine this same image when I am much bigger and how great it will look) oh , I would have to undress in freezing winter then, might have to come up with something else then. But anyways I am glad to have these images, thank you Sara.

You sure look cute in your pictures, and in my eyes pretty photogenic. You look a lot like Bianca did, but then again, at this age, all you little babies probably look a lot alike! I was very happy to bring home all these images. Your little feet, your face, your body, your back.. everything. It is really neat to have and it makes me so amazed how this is really possible. Your 9 weeks 4 days old photo!

Just a little peanut, but oh so cute. You were surely jumping around in there. Wowawoom! And I had just started to feel a little better. It was crazy how sick I felt for about 3 and half weeks. Oh my.. But I have forgotten now. I am glad you only made me sick for that short amount of time. I know some babies give their mommy "hell" for a much longer time than that! And... seeing you jumping around in there made it all much better. " You can make me feel as sick as you like" !!

18 weeks 4 days old!

I am getting rather big! I think! Compared to the first one with little B. But that is usually how it goes, you get larger quicker. It feels good. The other day I went and had an ultrasound done. I had thought of not doing one, but the idea of having the very first pictures won over, and I went. I came home with 8 pictures, the woman was SO generous to me! :) I will post those here soon.

So since I had some pictures now, I thought this will be a good time to tell big sister B about this baby. She was VERY excited. Her eyes got REALLY big and, of course, she already knew, but i pretended I had not known, so she thought that was great. She had known and I had not! She loved looking at the photos, loved, loved, loved. Now she makes sure I tell people there is a baby in my tummy! CUTE!

My daughter has figured me out!

So I am pregnant at 15 almost 16 weeks, and I haven't told my 4 year old yet. I thought I would wait til I started showing some. Well, turns out she figured it out herself. The other night she touched my well rounded belly and said " Mommy, I think there is a baby in your tummy!" and I said "Really? " What do you think we should name it then if there is a baby there?" And Bianca said "Bianca". "Or maybe Nala or Simba". Oh so cute. Two nights later she patted my belly and said "Hello baby". OK, she knows....!

Here is a picture of my belly at 15 weeks. It sure grows faster the second time around. With Little B I showed no belly until about week 20. Interesting stuff!
